LONG LINING FOR TRAINING/ REHAB JANUARY 28TH & FEBRUARY 25TH $225/90

This clinic will focus on long lining techniques, exercises, and proper equipment to facilitate training, developing connection, equine injury rehabilitation using long lines, as well as introduce long lining to beginners.
Long lining can facilitate great wellness of the equine body, especially the stifle and surrounding areas, hocks, the thoracic, lumbar, and sacral regions of the back, and front & rear tendon & ligament injuries. Long Lining is not a replacement for veterinary care, and a long lining protocol should be discussed with your attending veterinarians before beginning ANY sessions begin. Long lining is a great tool to mix up training for our equine athletes and companions, therefore it becomes a great tool for beginners to enhance their training knowledge, expand their training tool box and develop a better, and more trusting relationship with their horse. Horses will be available, you do not need to own a horse to participate. A variety of horses will be available both for beginners and also for demonstration with rehabilitation. Join us for a few great demos and lectures that will bring valuable information to those looking to broaden their horse training horizons.
Audit is $60
Participant’s w/horse are $225/pp.
Stabling $30 day $50 overnight.
**Horses available for use.

Young Horse Workshop.

Prepare your youngster for groundwork and their ridden careers.
Learn valuable tips for great behavior.
Teach your younger how to accept the bit and mobilize their jaw
Learn the secret to teaching young horses how to lunge.
Introduction to yielding and lateral work
These are just a few things that will be touched upon in step-by-step detail throughout the day. There are a few secrets to success when working with young horses and I’m going to share some of them in this young horse workshop. The babies are so special. They are the future ...
How to interpret information as a young horse translates into their understanding of other more complicated requests as they progress through the learning and training curve. This course is for you who have young horses under the age of four however, any of the subjects that we cover for these young horses are also applicable for any age horse and if you feel like brushing up on your ground skills and very basic understanding of handling skills this course for you!
Maybe you have an older pushy horse that walks all over you or doesn’t know how to stand still, or can’t get them to lunge well. Maybe you want to connect more with your horse? Join us for a fun educational workshop that will enhance your awareness of issues, offer solutions and boost your confidence while helping these youngsters “Get it”!
Most of the issues we see in the saddle are issues we still have on the ground and if you can prevent some of these things from happening right from the beginning stages you are already ahead of the game!
You have to be the change that makes the change if you want to get different results!
This is an all inclusive workshop and includes the entire day 9-4, refreshments & lunch as well as working with horses here. Participants only- Limit 6.

Mary Wanless: Rider Biomechanics Clinic MAY 2023- (Waiting on final dates)

Mary Wanless is the creator of the Ride With Your Mind System, the first program designed to address rider biomechanics. Mary works with riders from beginners to Olympians, and can add to your rider toolbox at all levels. If you have ever wondered why….
…Every horse you ride is hard to bend right….
…Each time you approach a jump the horse drifts left…
…Your horse feels/looks lame when you ride, but fine when your trainer rides them…
Mary can help you address that!
Whether you are a Hunter/Jumper, Eventer or Dressage rider, Mary’s knowledge of how to improve the rider’s body can help you become more confident and competitive.
